The boys in green took 6 points from 6 in what was a very successful opening two games of the EURO 2020 qualifying campaign.
These two games were played against Georgia and Gibraltar and brought some stand out performances from a handful of players fairly new to the Irish camp. The likes of Matt Doherty, Conor Hourihane and David McGoldrick really caught the eye of the fans.
Away from the international side, many of the current squad have had huge successes back in their clubs with McGoldrick, Egan and Stevens all helping Sheffield United with their return to the Premier League as well as Hourihane, Whealan and Hogan all playing their part in helping Aston Villa back to the top flight of English football.
Mick McCarthy will be looking to retain his 100% record as Irish manager when they travel to play Denmark on Monday night, followed by Gibraltar on Monday night in Dublin!
