Ciaran Kelly has signed for Bohemians from St. Patrick’s Athletic, following the expiration of his contract with the Inchicore outfit at the end of the last season.
The 21-year-old centre back was described as “young” and “hungry” by Bohs manager Keith Long upon the announcement of his latest signing. The club currently have 25 players signed ahead of the new season.
Kelly, who played for the Saints at underage level, joined Drogheda United in 2018, almost securing promotion for the Louth side with a goal in the promotion play-off that year.
Regardless, Kelly found himself playing Premier Division football the following year when he signed for Pats ahead of the 2019 season, racking up 25 appearances.
Kelly announced that he would not be signing another contract with St. Pats on Twitter last November.
